Now Teach attracts, recruits and supports experienced professionals to retrain as teachers. They are addressing the systemic shortage of teachers by creating a network of later stage career changers who are retraining. Founded in 2016 and incubated by °µÍø½ûÇø until 2020, they have recruited over 850 career changers directly into the profession. They have also driven an indirect increase: over 40s are the only group where the numbers joining teaching are increasing.
