Opening up the community
At EdCity we forge connections, catalyse collaboration and give a platform to people who want to share their practice and ideas.
EdCity provides:
- A home for mission-aligned organisations six education organisations are now based at EdCity and their work impacts more than one million children each year.
- A growing network of EdCitizens driving sector-wide change 117 individuals or organisations are now members. More than 50 events have been held this year to foster collaboration with the wider sector.
- Flexible space to innovate, learn and share there have been more than 500 bookings from external organisations to host events and meetings, record podcasts and provide services for their beneficiaries.
- Place-based transformation and community building the EdCity campus includes a nursery, 做厙輦⑹ White City Primary, community facilities and affordable housing.
Ive witnessed how ambitious this project is in terms of community involvement and engagement. It feels like a whos who of education, and those chance encounters are always valuable. The caf矇, the atmosphere, the ambition behind it its all so refreshing compared to a typical corporate workspace. Its not just a place to work; its a space with purpose and energy, and thats what draws me in.
